The aquaculture industry is currently in a period of great flux: food safety concerns, environmental concerns, as well as increasing globalization. Dainichi understood and acted upon this information from early on. We offer our clients not only that expertise, but superiorly safe feeds, eco-friendly aquaculture equipment, and expansion into new markets. As a total support company it is our mission to build new fishery business together with our clients.
Moist Pellet
Moist Pellets are cold extruded feed with a moisture content of 40% formulated with the proper nutritional levels of fish meals, oils, and frozen fish. We finely adjust the feed formulation to meet the needs of the client and the growth needs of the fish. Moist Pellets are manufactured daily to order. The freshly made feed is delivered the following morning to our clients via local area service stations.
Dry Feed
Dry type feed has a moisture content of less than 10%. Stored at room temperature it will last for more than 6 months. We are conducting the development and sales of a dry feed based on our original formulation as well as distributing the products of influential domestic and foreign makers.
Fish meal / Fish oil
We directly import high quality products for aquaculture from South America and therefore are able to offer these products at a competitive price.
Plastic Sea Cages
Circular non-rusting plastic sea cages ranging from 10m to 70m in diameter made of HDPE plastic pipe. Pipe sizes range from 250 - 450mmφ. These cages, imported from Australia, are designed to the individual requirements of the client.
Misc. Aquaculture Products
We provide all the aquaculture products necessary to meet the client's needs from galvanized steel wire netting, polyethylene netting, UV-cut sheets, and floats.
Technical advice
Dainichi was the first, and still is, the only company in Uwajima to install a laboratory for the research of fishery habits and disease. We provide consultation on the formulation of Moist Pellets to maximize feed conversation as well as fish health consultation, ranging from nutritional supplements to the proper medicates for combating disease.
Research and development
We continuously strive to develop feeds to raise healthy and delicious tasting fish. An Economical and Ecological sound feed is the key concept behind the development of "ECO FEED".
Quality control
You are what you eat! In order to provide safe and reliable fish for human consumption, what the fish eat must also be safe. We check our products and raw materials daily to insure they are safe.
