There are 45 separate holding pens at our facility. In the summer, it is possible to prepare 60ton of fish per day. During winter, we are capable of processing over 100ton of fish. With pens adjacent to the plant, we are able to handle orders year round regardless of the weather. Our facility also boasts a 10t land-based holding tank designed for Red Sea Bream and Flounder.

DIRECT FROM FARMING AREAS VIA WELL-BOATS

Our processing facility's main supply areas are Japan's leading fish farms located along the Nichou Coast of Ehime as well as sites located in the waters off Kagawa and Tokushima. Depending on the demand, fish may be sourced from farming areas well-known to Dainichi from Western Japan. One well-boat can transport about 30,000kg (i.e. 7500pcs x 4kg) of live fish per voyage. Dainichi receives new shipments of fish two times a week. Fresh fish is always waiting its turn for you at Dainichi.

Our processing plant is located very close to the Kainan interchange of the Hanwa Expressway that links the cities of Wakayama and Osaka. It is possible to reach Osaka city from our facility by car in about an hour's time. In addition, our facility is located only 30 minutes from the Kansai International Airport. Whether it is by air or special delivery, we aim to deliver the freshest fish not only to our local clients but all over the world.
