Slurry Ice

MAINTAINING FRESHNESS WITH SLURRY ICE.

1) EXTREMELY EFFECTIVE BECAUSE OF IT'S SIZE!

Slurry ice is a free flowing mixture comprised spherical shaped ice only a few millimeters in diameter and seawater. The ice is made from desalinized sea water. The ice's small spherical shape increases the cooling surface area and allows the fish to be quickly cooled without damage.

2) EXTREMELY FRESH, EXTREMELY DELEICIOUS!

Because of it's free flowing sherbet-like form, slurry ice offers many advantages. It is able to fill small gaps thus reducing temperature irregularity during processing. By maintaining an even low temperature, the propagation of bacteria is prevented without damaging the product. The fish are kept in slurry ice for safe keeping throughout processing. Slurry Ice is a key part of our hygiene management.
