Dependence on aquaculture will increase due to the global demand for protein accompanying the world’s population growth. The ensured sustainability of aquaculture is crucial for its future development and growth. The need for a stable supply of safe, high-quality farmed fish while taking into account the marine environment, marine resources, and local communities is paramount.

FORMULA FEED

Moist Pellets

Moist Pellets are a formula feed comprised of frozen pilchards mixed with a powdered mixture called mash. Our company achieved a significant milestone in 1984 by successfully commercializing this product in Japan. Despite the prevalence of extruded pellets, moist pellets still hold great significance due to their high palatabilty and ease of formulation.
We provide meticulously customized formulations based on the species and the fish’s growth requirements. Our production system allows us to receive orders a day in advance, manufacture during the evening, for deliverly the following morning. This streamlined process ensures timely delivery to meet the diverse needs of our clients.

Dry Pellets

Dry pellets refer to feeds that are steam pressed or extruded with a moisture content less than 10%. The use of these feeds are anticipated to increase in the future along with efforts to increase aquaculture’s sustainability.
We handle a wide range of products, from our own private brand to feeds manufactured by leading domestic and international manufacturers. Our flagship products, the 16 MADAI and 16 HAMACHI series, incorporate a unique combination of shrimp meal and squid extract, and have been well received.

Frozen Pilchards

We sale both domestically and internationally sourced fish such as sardines, mackerel, and shrimp as well as use these raw materials for our moist pellets.
Through the operation of a freezer warehouse at our head office and freezer factory in Ainan-cho, we are able to provide a stable supply of fish to meet our clients needs. Products are carefully stored at -20°C and undergo rigorous quality control inspections and chemical analyses.

Pharmaceuticals & Supplements

Our company holds a veterinary license that enables us to distribute aquaculture vaccines and pharmaceuticals. Additionally, we provide a wide range of general nutritional supplements, including vitamins.

AQUACULTURE EQUIPMENT

FLIPFARM System

An innovative single-seed oyster farming system developed by FLIPFARM. The system utilizes Hexcyl baskets and other equipment to significantly diminish the need for manual labor, increasing efficiency, and ensures high quality oysters.

At the 2021 World Congress hosted by the Global Seafood Alliance, FLIPFARM won the best aquaculture innovation award.

Features

• Inverting the baskets with a flipper, the oyster shells are scraped and become smooth and beautiful deep cups allowing plump oysters to grow.
• By flipping the baskets, the oysters are exposed to sunlight, resulting in the effortless removal of barnacles, strengthening the oyster’s scallop, and extending their shelf life.
• Time and labor are realized using shuttles for the semi-automatic emptying and filling of oyster baskets at sea.
