- Began the aquaculture of bluefin tuna at Tojima near Uwajima City.

- Registered “Yato-Ya” as a trademark for edible seafood and processed marine products (Trademark No. 5137607).

- Established a processing plant to produce frozen pilchards in Ainan City.
2011

- Established Uchiumi Suisan and commenced marine aquaculture.

- Acquired all the shares of Isekin Shoten, an intermediate wholesaler at Tokyo’s Ota Market, and made it a wholly owned subsidiary.
2013

- Established the Hachinohe Factory for the production of squid extract in Aomori.

- Registered “Hime Maguro” as a trademark for tuna and processed tuna products (Trademark No. 5684650).

- Relocated the Tokyo Office to the Ota Market (Keihinjima Live Fish Center).

- Kainan Seafood Center acquired EU HACCP certification.

- Established Uwajima Kaido as a JV with Onsui Co., Ltd. & Mitsui & Co., Ltd.

- ASC certification for Madai acquired by Uchiumi Suisan. The first company in the world to do so.

- ASC CoC certification acquired by Kainan Seafood Center, Isekane Shoten, and the Keihinjima Live Fish Center.
